Mini Vacation

Hey Everybody! Time for another update on life here in Maricopa. Nailah is going to be 14 months old in a few days and I can't believe it! A few weeks ago we really needed a little get away so we decided to go spend the night in Tucson! It ended up being so much fun! The first day we drove down and got lunch, and then we went to the Zoo. Nailah was more interested in all the other kids than she was in the animals but we still had a great time!

We stayed at the Embassy Suites La Paloma Village and it was a really nice hotel! I would recommend it to anybody who may want to visit Tucson in the future! The hotel also offers a free happy hour for two hours every night and we had a really spacious suite with everything we needed! Anyways….The next day we went out to breakfast and then we went to the pool! My little water baby was loving it! After that we headed home! The drive was only about an hour and half so it really was a perfect little get away!

Beautiful Day in Maricopa!

So for those of you who don't know, we live in a small town in Arizona called Maricopa! Not to be confused with Maricopa County, which is where Phoenix is located. We are about 45 minutes away from the Phoenix airport to give you some perspective! Anyways, we have a beautiful house and neighborhoods out here are so nice! There are so many parks that Nailah and I can walk to, and we also have a community pool that is only a five minute walk away! Nailah LOVES it outside! She is constantly bringing me her shoes and pointing to the door because she wants to go outside. If I don't feel like loading her in the stroller for a walk to the park we usually just go outside in our backyard! Here are some pictures from our time in the backyard this afternoon!
